A few weeks ago I recommended a great value Chard from Argentina called Las Moras. As ever, the vintage changed immediately, and so did the bottle shape. I’m convinced LCBO warehouse people have access to my mind, and the second I put something in writing they make me look foolish by immediately moving to new vintage ““ and in this case, a different-looking bottle. Causing me to handle scores of emails from hawk-eyed readers who fact-check everything I write.
Kidding aside, the 2012 feels a shade simpler than the previous vintage, but is still a great mouthful of Chardonnay for the price.
