The Whole Foods chain of gourmet grocery stores are experimenting with wine and beer bars on the premises. They have five to date with plans for seven more this year. Of course they’re all in areas of the US that allow wine and beer in grocery stores. Sigh.
Sounds like customers like the idea: “You need a drink to shop there ““ everything is overpriced”, said one customer.
