Portugal’s Aveleda winery has had an easy quaffing Vinho Verde (#5322 $8.95) at the LCBO for ever, and now it’s joined by a more seriously dry, estate edition. A wine with the cutting edge and purity we associate with dry Riesling. Electric refreshment for a hot day. Or with oysters, or a platter of smoked salmon. But not much fun after sunset. Unfortunately not in screw-cap.
