Portfolio Tasting Invite

YOU’RE INVITED TO A PORTFOLIO TASTING

Some wine importers host an annual portfolio tasting for their restaurant and private customers. A chance to show-off new wines, new vintages and to network. These tastings are usually a mix of regular LCBO, Vintages and Private Import wines. For a couple of hours you can imagine you’re living in New York or London where wines flows more freely than here.

If this is something that might interest you check out Hobbs & Co tasting on Tuesday, March 29. This is a family owned importing company with a broad range of wines, most in the affordable price range. They have a perfect balance of Old and new World, along with top Canadian wines from Quails Gate in BC, and Closson Chase here in the County. Tickets for the event are $20 at

I suggest you go with some drinking friends and do a little shopping for the upcoming season. Using your imagination to select different styles for different events/moods. It will be fun opening the bottles later and thinking “I actually picked this ““ I’m brilliant. Or what was I thinking?”

MARCH 29, 5 to 8pm, HOBBS & Co, St. Lawrence Centre (Bluma Appel Treatre, 27 Front St. E., Toronto)
