Attention fans of mellow reds. And of traditional spicy/sweet, vanilla-loaded, Rioja-style reds. Here’s your favourite wine at a Costco price. A dream come true. As you probably know, I usually don’t care for this style, but I’m making an exception due to the refreshing tang, and absence of the usual numbing richness. I also like the wine’s suggestion of faded elegance, as in old men’s clubs. For sure, this is one hell of a charmer, and a bargain. I’m thinking Jerk chicken, but at this price, you should can go wild with your own exploring.
