INNOVATION IN LOCAL LABELING ““ AT LAST
Pillitteri has joined the ranks of Niagara wineries producing white blends, marketed with non-traditional labels. I’m a fan of both innovations. Especially the novel idea of using a while bunch of different labels for the same wine!
Most of these blends deliver a better drink than if they were single grape wines, and it’s a way for local wineries to offer something decent for $12.95 ““ the going price of these wines. Pillitteri’s white is drier than most, low flavoured, but not far removed from~ Italy’s Pinot Grigio, or Muscadet from France. A decent summer refresher.
