While our cousins in Quebec pay more for most imports than we do ““ they pay less for French wine. One of the delights of visiting Montreal is the opportunity to drink tasty Burgundy in bistro-style restaurants such as L’Express and Holder.
Recently we had a very classy sparkling, and a red~ Bourgogne ““ each for $38 per bottle. Along with great service and friendliness by the bartenders. In general,~ Montreal restaurants have better wine prices than their Toronto/Ottawa neighbours.
