Fab winter red @ VINTAGES!
As you know I’m not a big fan of plummy, rich reds, but I’m luvin this guy. A Syrah/Cab blend that’s not unlike a Cotes du Rhone, but with more glam. More of the sweet, seductive notes that add up to yummy. Great warmth too. But also has lots of tang to keep the palate refreshed. Think Summer BBQ too.
Named after Jonty Grieve (and his ducks), owner of Avondale organic/biodynamic winery.
