Beaujolais is a great Summer red because the bright fruit flavours and zesty personality feel just-right in this season. Wine choices are all about situation and mood of the season.
My current favourite in the Beaujolais camp is Bouchard Aine for its vitality and yumminess. Lightly chilled it’s a joy to gulp. With or without friends. Tonight I’m sharing it with BBQ’d salmon. One of the joys of summer.
