Chardonnay for Pinot Grigio Fans

HERE’S A CHARDONNAY FOR PINOT GRIGIO FANS.

I better explain. There is a movement in Australia to “˜downstyle’ wines to cater to drinkers with a preference for milder wines, such as Pinot Grigio. Hence Cooralook Chardonnay ““ which could be mistaken for a rich Pinot Grigio (in the Alsace-style, which are labeled Pinot Gris. Got that!?)

This March I visited this winery’s lovely Villa located on Mornington Peninsula. I experienced an entire line-up of charming Chards and Pinots. This bottle may appear expensive but you do get a nice hit of luxury. And a good-with-anything feeling. And you gotta love the bold-coloured label. Check it out.
