This is a “˜biggie’ for Ontario Pinot. Certainly on the dark and manly side. Quite tannic, with woodsy, earthy flavours ““ shades of Barolo or Barbera. Interesting how many Niagara reds take on Italian personality/flavours. Hard not to think of lamb chops, or duck breast. And a roaring fire. This is winter Pinot. Could age another year or two.
