I’ve been having good experiences with Chianti this year, and here’s another. The appeal of this wine is the woodsy, mature quality ““ suggesting traditional cellar methods. Certainly not for fans of bright/fruity reds, but if you spend a lot of money on old Burgundy and Barolo this offers a somewhat similar experience for a fraction of the price. Worth exploring for the mature-red experience. Think grilled veal chop, or any winter fireside experience.~ ~
