Finding good local under $12, even $15, is usually difficult. But I’ve just found a white wine that blew me away for both price and quality. Magnotta Semillon would not be out of place at a five star restaurant, and it sells for $10.95. Without question the best local white I’ve ever tasted at this price. Expect lemony freshness, a little spice, and a lot of pleasant drinkability. Shades of a cross between Pinot Grigio and Sauv Blanc. A wonderful drink to come home to. Get a case.
Magnotta has stores in TO and Niagara, but you can shop online.
