Here’s a first from me, a white from Croatia. But don’t be expecting some ethnic cheapo ““ this is exciting, high quality stuff. Produced from the Grasvina grape, by a winery dating back to the 15th century. Shades of a Alsace Pinot Gris, but with more intensity and huge floral and herbal flavours. Rich, very complex but also very gulpable. A bit of a splurge, but well worth it for the unique experience ““ and opportunity to wow your dinner party friends. Chicken or pork with herbs would be a good food partner.~
