If you like variety in your drinking let me offer a couple of suggestions. First-up: a white made from a blend of Gros Manseng, Petit Corbu and Arrufiac grapes. Different for sure. What I like about the wine is its schizophrenia. Honest! It has sensations that are all over the place ““ from tart/refreshing to sweet/sour to light/rich. For sure an interesting glass, or two, to start your evening, or week-end party (just your own household of course). Would also be a candidate for “˜fun’ drinking over the Holiday season.
Perrin’s White Cotes du Rhone is novel in a different way, offering a classy feeling at a moderate price. Love that. Shades of un-oaked Chardonnay ““ at a quality level and style I would expect from house wine at the Ritz in Paris. Understated luxury. A delightful anytime wine that would also partner well with seafood appetizers. I bet you’ll be tempted to splurge on this for house white.
