Regular readers will know of my fondness of Italian whites in the medium price-range. I love how they deliver something different from the popular grape varieties ““ often an experience with some mystery. Hard to pin down. A bit like Euro movies. Anselmi was a pioneer in the movement that elevated Italian whites to something above Grigio. This blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon and the traditional Garganega grape is medium-bodied, has moderate alcohol, and is darn good general-purpose white. Check it out at the sale price.
