The Aussies love their white blends such as Sem/Sauv and Sem/Chard and now we’re starting to see our local wineries offering blends of white grape varieties. Such as Inniskillin’s Riesling/Pinot Grigio.
Inniskillin has taken some of the edge off dry Riesling by blending it with Pinot Grigio ““~ the result is a good all-purpose white.~ It’s low alcohol too, so try a bottle for after work relaxing. This might be the perfect blend for Ontario house wine. Watch for it on the shelves in September.
