ANOTHER SUPER VALUE from Spain
Regular readers will know that I’m not a fan of smooth wines, however here I am being seduced by this Rioja. I’m loving the lighthearted, everyday feeling and charm. I’m thinking this could be a spicy Pinot Noir, or an over-sexed Beaujolais. Something told me to lightly chill the bottle, which is one of the reasons I’m experiencing much more than smoothness. A well-made wine is another reason. There’s a lot of weeknight comfort to be had here ““ especially at the sale price.
