Not sure why, but Spanish, and Rioja in particular, Rosés have an extra shot of flavor. And in this case, there is also a richness that puts the wine in the mealtime category ““ too substantial for party guzzling. Campo Viejo’s Rosé has been on my best-rosé list for many years, and this new vintage may be the best yet. Quite the amazing wine for the price.
