Our house (built around 1890) is creative, cozy and beautiful. “Magazine worthy!” some people have said. Because art and design is important to us, we have given it our best love and imagination. It’s close to the road, but another world awaits with stunning views of the grasslands and East Lake. Ideally located to visit Sandbanks Provincial Park, Picton, and the less touristy South Shore (where we think are the best wineries are!).

You will have run of the entire house and trust that you will respect our home. You are welcome to use any of our pantry provisions ““ coffee and tea is provided. You can cook dinner and watch the sunset from the screened-in studio or in the dining room. Enjoy our magical backyard with nature at your doorstep ““ mature trees and birds.
BEDROOM TOP FLOOR
The air-conditioned bedroom is ensuite with a clawfoot bathtub, and a queen bed dressed with good quality linens. It is on the top floor, with stunning views of the grasslands and East Lake. There is a two piece bathroom upstairs as well.
Towels, Soap, Shampoo, Extra Pillows & Blankets are provided.
BEDROOM BOTTOM FLOOR
The bedroom is cozy, private, cool and quiet, with a large window. The double bed dressed with good quality linens.

MAIN FLOOR BATHROOM
The main floor bath has a heated slate floor and a beautiful walk in shower. Towels, soap, and shampoo are provided.
KITCHEN & DINING OPTIONS
Our kitchen is yours! The galley kitchen is open plan, extending into the mid-century dining room.
There are four areas to dine in:

The balcony off the dining room ““ overlooking East Lake ““ perfect for morning coffee
Kato’s Studio ““ screened in for special dinners
Outside in the ‘backyard’ for alfresco dining during the day
In addition, we have a Weber gas BBQ, Nespresso coffee maker, Bodum coffee maker, and you are welcome to use our pantry provisions: oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar, etc.

Cherry Valley is ideally located in Prince Edward County ““ close to the beaches, (Sandbanks, Point Petre, Little Bluff), Picton, South Bay wineries, Waupoos and the Hayloft Dance Hall.
Regretably, our house is not conducive for pets of any kind, nor children. This is an adult only rental property. No smoking.

From the moment you get out of your car until the moment you leave, you will love everything you see and will more often than not, see something you’ve yet to see. You will feel at home and comfortable within the homey, yet eclectic surroundings, and will not want for anything, as everything you need is available for use there. Kato and Billy’s place is a rare find – wonderfully decorated space that’s truly charming. The pictures are amazing but you really have to see it in person! We found ourselves wanting to spend as much time inside as we did outside. I can’t say enough about the views ““ coffee and breakfast in the morning on the balcony was a treat! Their space was clean and well maintained and we had everything that we needed from soaps, towels, kitchen supplies and maps of the region. Suggestions for activities, dining and wineries to visit were spot on. Vicky
Fantastic value, beautiful setting, great patios with views. Looks even better than the photos. Wonderful sitting on the patio, looking over the grassland with East Lake in the distance, listening to the birds, with an occasional squirrel or cat who comes to visit. Kato is a very generous host, thoughtful, well-organized, and she has wonderful taste in interior design: wonderful interior, creative use of space, interesting and compelling art work.
