ANOTHER CANDIDATE FOR NICEST SUMMER WHITE IN THE WORLD
(Yes… still celebrating ‘summer’)
Symphony is a Calif clone of Muscat so expect a wine that’s “seductively aromatic” to quote the back label. Another good descriptor on the back label is “delightful”, especially when sipped alfresco on a sunny day. As with most Muscat wines, the feeling is sweet, even though the wine is dryish, and quite refreshing. A must-try before the summer departs.
IRONSTONE 12 Symphony “˜Obsession’, California 295931 $15.95
P.S. Ironstone have been producing this wine for decades. Long before the current Muscat craze.
