One of my most favourite days of the year is the Men in Pink. Today is the 5th anniversary of a special luncheon with 30 to 40 men ““ mainly winemakers and promoters of Ontario produced Rosé ““ dressed appropriately, tasting and kibbutzing over a long lunch at Allen’s on the Danforth. Allen’s has one of the nicest patios in Toronto ““ thanks to a large weeping willow tree ““ and is owned by John Allen who is a HUGE supporter of the Ontario wine industry.
Those who are regular readers know my fondness for the ‘pink’ ““ especially in summer. A great wine to pair with charcuterie, Indian food ““ just about anything. Rosé seems to make everyone instantly happy ““ another French lesson!
