This has been one of our go-to wines on trips to Ireland, where the producers, the Guibert family spend their summers. Madame is an Irish scholar. I love the no-nonsense character ““ good and satisfying without trying. Non-oaked Chardonnay is probably the best way to explain the style. So, enjoy anytime “in a friendly atmosphere” as suggested on the back label. Would be great if more wineries could produce wine with this much character at eleven and a half percent alcohol?!
