Hello again! Back on track now after recuperating from two fabulous tours to Italy and France. More about that later. But here we are at one of the beautiful times of the year, and one of my favourite holidays. Lots to give thanks for!
Pinot Noir is a no-brainer choice for a traditional Thanksgiving bash as the wine echoes the woodsy feeling that we associate with Fall days. It’s also lively, lighthearted and happens to be a damn fine partner for turkey. Thanksgiving of course, is a celebration of the local harvest, and therefore an ideal time to enjoy the wonderful Pinots crafted in Ontario. Two of which just happen to be on sale right now.
Henry’s wine is light, refreshing and super gulpable. Lightly chilled it’s invigorating stuff to start the afternoon as you chat and nibble. The description “˜barnyard’ is music to the ears of Pinot fans, and they should be stocking-up on Angels Gate wine. May I propose that everyone makes their Thanksgiving celebrations real with a splash of barnyard! Lightly chill this also.
