Light, but Not

beaujolais-villagesI’ve had an on-and-off relationship with Jadot’s Beaujolais. My main quibble has been the quality/price/ratio (or QPR as it’s now called, unless you’re a soccer fan!). However, I’ve come across the wine a lot recently, and the quality side is winning me over.

While the wine is light, and low alcohol, the flavor concentration is quite bold. There is a big presence ““ on a par with a lot of Pinor Noirs. Some Beaujolais does that. I’ve especially enjoyed is this wine’s compatibility with food ““ of all kinds. So it’s a no-brainer when entertaining. Give it a light chill for patio events.
