Last Roses of Summer

Okay! Frosty mornings haven’t ascended upon us quite yet, so I can still think about summer! I mentioned Charles & Charles back in the Spring, but a recent bottle rekindled my fondness for the wine. AND of course the label. There are tons of wines that I’d like to buy because of the label, but I don’t because we don’t drink labels. However, C&C Rosé is seriously good, and the brilliant pink stripes have a way of adding extra fun to the experience. Produced from a blend of Rhone grape varieties, so it tastes a lot like a Rhone Rosé. Cannot beat that.

Fans of light wines should be grabbing the last few cases of Rockway’s Patio 9 Pink. This lighthearted, fruity, and slightly spritzy wine clock’s in under ten percent alcohol. Pretty pink colour too. Patio 9 is also just the thing to have on hand for relatives/neighbours who only take a “˜little’ drink.
