Italy’s Wonder Red

The story goes that many of France’s finest reds used to beefed-up with cheap bulk wine from Puglia in the heel of Italy. Today Puglia is bottling its own wine and often crafting it with more style than heft.

Mezzomondo‘s wine has the vitality and medium-bodied style we associate with Tuscany. It’s an appealing blend of rustic, refreshment and nourishment. Feels very real. Feels like you could drink it all evening, all week. The only thing cheap about this wine is the price.

MEZZOMONDO 10 Negroamoro, Salento, Puglia. Italy 588962 $7.95
