ALL HAIL TO A REALLY GOOD CHIANTI
Many moons ago I used to put Chianti forward as my favourite red. But the wine took on a new style embracing New World richness in favour of the traditional vibrant, lively personality. The fun-style of a Chevy truck became the plushness of a Cadillac. Naturally sales soared, especially in North America. Thankfully bit all producers went the plush route.
Castellare’s wine has the brilliant/bright character of an impressionist painting. Takes you into an arena of tasty flavours and high energy. A Neil Young concert may not be the perfect analogy, but it’s close. Heartfelt, with an edge. An early hit of Fall.
