Gosh Josh!

Many years ago California introduced a style of Cabernet that went right to the top of the charts. Traditionally Cabernet was a somewhat hard/manly red best softened by the protein in hunks of red meat, but warm climate California delivered a riper, richer, sweeter, softer edition. The easier-to-like Hollywood movie over the Euro edition. The only downside is the price is usually well above everyday.

The wine below is typical Californian Cabernet ““ attractive ripe fruitiness, richness and lushness, not to mention yummy drinkability, and it’s on sale. It would be an excellent partner for most of today’s popular hot/spicy foods. Also, it would be an impressive hostess gift ““ heavy bottle and classy label. Of course, there’s no need to mention you got it on sale!~
