Good Rosé at Kacaba

KacabaKacaba is another under-the radar winery that also does well with Chardonnay and Syrah. And Pinot Noir. And in recent tastings I have been very impressed with their Rosé. This year they have two bottlings.

Rebecca has a huge blast of Gamay flavor and refreshing tartness. Think pink Beaujolais. Perfect for alfresco lunches. Jennifer is pale pink with delicious strawberryish flavours, and a “˜comforting’ feeling. Dry, but with a laid-back, lazy summer evening feeling. An invitation to toss a few shrimp on the hot coals.
