GOOD NEWS FOR THE PINOT NOIR FAN

Many New World editions of Pinot Noir don’t appeal because they are overly perfumed with oak, or they are overpriced. But let me tell you about one that has neither of these faults, and which captures the elusive charm of this grape. For sure, it’s a tad simple, but I super enjoyed sipping my lightly chilled bottle over a few evenings. I will be back for more.

The mood for this wine: Wanting a lighthearted red, to sip, or have with a simple meal. Could be a perfect Summer red.

BODEGA SALENTEIN 20 Pinot Noir “˜Portillo’, Mendoza, Argentina 19274 $13.95
