Torres Esmeralda has come through Vintages for several decades, and now it’s generally available. Expect beautiful fragrances and a lighthearted feeling from this Muscat and Gewurztraminer blend, but what I enjoy most is the neither dry, nor sweet feeling. Flirts with your senses. While I’m sure it would a perfect partner with most Asian dishes, I’ve always enjoyed this wine as a between meals sipper. And something to have open in the fridge for drop-ins. Always popular with the non-wine crowd.
