New World Pinot is often a tad fruity and fluffy, but this guy has a solid structure. Not barnyard as in Burgundy ““ more earthy like Barolo. Hits the medium-bodied red category perfectly so food/mood partnerships are endless. Salmon, pork, chicken for sure, but beef is also a possibility. Lightly chill, have a glass or two while cooking. Pinot improves most people’s culinary skills.
