Chianti prices have gotten out of hand, and the style has drifted too close to New World. But here’s a gem. The earthy/rustic character of Sangiovese is delivered with the grace and charm of all things Tuscan. The yin yang that makes Italy so exciting. This is one delicious red that will especially appeal to fans of Pinot and other delicate and seductive reds.
What I love most of all is the high spirit, the fun-feeling we experience at an ~ Italian restaurant. The magic than cannot be explained.
