A Blast of Red Burgundy

As you know Burgundy is the home of Pinot Noir and unfortunately they like to charge for the stuff. However, the odd, quality bottle comes to Vintages at a reasonable price. Expect light reds with lots of personality ““ perfect for summer events. Chill lightly.

Montreal native Pascal Marchand was a consultant on Niagara’s Clos Jordanne project and is now doing his thing in Burgundy. I really like the gutsy, rustic personality in his 09 Pinot. A light red that’s more “˜country’ than “˜fruity’.

Louis Latour‘s wine appeals with charm and a silky texture. Light, lively and crafted in a New World style so it’s very crowd-pleasing. Perfect for summer events.
