Refreshing Local Red & White

A summer drinking duo.

Sullyzwicker is play on the Alsace word for blended/everyday wine, and Rosehall Run‘s Dan Sullivan. Dan is one of the original and best winemaker’s here in the County and the winery’s smart new retail shop finally does justice to what he puts in the bottle. Both Sullyzwickers are at LCBOs but I recommend a winery visit to check out some excellent County Chard, Gris and Pinot.

These Sullyzwickers are ideal summer drinks with their light feeling and low alcohol. Perfect for patio parties. The red is tart and refreshing in the Beaujolais style, so lightly chill and have early in
the day or evening. Naturally the white is also fresh. Close in style to dry Riesling or a Vinho Verde.

SULLYZWICKER 11 RED, Rosehall Run, VQA Ontario 114686 $14.95
SULLYZWICKER 11 WHITE, Rosehall Run, VQA Ontario 214478 $13.95

  • Love the new packaging – SZ looks great. This is a great summer red that really comes alive lightly chilled – brings out the sour cherry!
