I’m starting the year with a shout out to an LCBO steady performer. For about six seasons now Francois Lurton’s Sauvignon Blanc has delivered high quality, at a reasonable price. In my books that kind of performance deserves recognition.
The current 13 vintage is bone dry, super refreshing with just enough herbaceousness to please the fan, but not too much to scare your friends. Excellent aperitif, seafood appetizer, or early evening gulper. Moderate alcohol.
