Vidal-Fleurie is a recent addition to the Rhone section and the importer is hoping for your attention with a $2 discount. I hope it works because this wine delivers everything you’d wish for in a south of France red. Richness combined with deep earthy flavours and feelings. My favourite mix of warmhearted and rustic. Way more interesting than most of today’s popular reds. Vidal-Fleurie is owned by Guigal, one of the top producers not only in the Rhone, but in all of France. His wines have an extra depth of flavour.
FYI. All discounts at the LCBO are out of the pocket of the importer. A monopoly need never give it customers a break. Parts of its charm!!
