The Viognier grape usually produces a rather pretty, semi rich, semi-expensive wines, but here’s a dandy, everyday edition. Refreshingly bone dry, mildly flavoured and with the frank character of a house wine at a French bistro. Good everyday stuff. In case you have not noticed, France is back on form.
