Yummy with an Edge

CarmenI’m not as big a fan as some of Chile’s plummy reds, but I like Carmen’s Carmenere.

Not just for the fun of saying the name, but because there is a dusty, dry edge to temper the “˜niceness’ of the wine. The yumminess does not become tiring. Neither does the price. Where’s my steak!

CARMEN 13 Carmenere Reserva, Chile 169052 $10.45
