Cabriz is one of my go-to producers when in Portugal because~ their wines have a ‘just right for everyday’ quality ““ and price. This red is lightish with delicious berry flavours (shades of Pinot, and dangerous gulpability. Very different from the traditional heavy reds of Portugal. The slight sweetness would partner beautifully with hot/spicy foods such as Tex/Mex. Or chicken wings.
