Your parents probably drank lots of Mouton Cadet and if you’d like to continue the tradition I have good news. There’s a much-improved Reserve edition on the shelves. In case you’re new to the game let me remind you that Bordeaux is one of the original homes of Sauvignon Blanc. And the Semillon grape. And the current Ontario fashion of perfuming whites with a little Muscat has always been the norm in Bordeaux. Quality was not great in the past but the Mouton Cadet below is crisp, flavourful and classy. Aperitif or with light foods.
P.S. The regular Mouton Cadet white and red are quite bland.
