I’m sure you’ve heard that a dockers strike, or something, has meant that the LCBO shelves are getting low on Champagne. First Covid, now this! But worry not (about the bubbly) Spain… to the rescue! Don’t ask how ““ they’ve been doing it for decades ““ but it’s remained a bit of a secret as Spain’s producers could not afford the billions that Champagne did creating prestige. The Cava (Spanish term for Sparkling) below comes with earthy feelings, intrigue and fun ““ just like Champagne. At this price, why not enjoy a nightly glass? Buy lots, as it will get more interesting over the next few years. Organic.
