New Brunswick Beer eh!

redpumpBeer and wine are good mates. At least I think so.

A few good gulps of beer settles your thirst so you don’t go wild with the wine. Becks, Warsteiner and Steamwhistle, all lagers, are some of my hot weather beers but as we head into fall I’ll be switching to the more nourishing character of English-style ales. Maybe Pump House Red Ale. This New Brunswick brewery was voted brewery of the year in 2005 and I really like the malty, tangy, fall day-feeling of the Red Ale. It’s new at LCBOs along with Pump House Blueberry Ale which is a bit plain. If you’re reading this in Moncton please visit the brewery and check out the Thai Wheat ““ brewed with ginger and lemongrass!
