Happy 60th Toro!

Torres “˜Sangre de Toro’ is having its 60th birthday, and I invite you to join me in toasting~  the world’s great, everyday red wine. Longtime readers will know of my fondness for this brand, and I’m delighted to say it has never tasted better. A somewhat traditional package may have kept some at bay, but that’s all fixed, so now you can pour Toro and still look “˜cool’.

The ability to combine refreshment with heartwarming flavours and feelings ““ and great drinkability, are the features that made me love Toro for at least half of its lifespan. Think log cabin, pick-up truck and other heartfelt experiences. Produced from the Garnacha grape which is also responsible for most of the similar wonderful experiences in Cotes du Rhone wines.
