I like to keep an eye on the Rothschild wines from the south of France because they often deliver a very decent drink for the price. This Cabernet has the solidness of Bordeaux (the winery’s home base) along with warm climate friendliness and drinkability. Certainly not a macho Cab, but a good social mixer ““ with people and with food.
