“This is nice” is what people usually say when they are enjoying a wine. Which is often not totally accurate ““ what they should be saying is “this wine is working for me right now”, even if it is a searingly dry Sauvignon ““ hardly a “˜nice’ wine. But there are wines with a “˜nice’ nature, such as the one below.

Fetzer’s Chardonnay delivers pleasantness, softness and comes across in the manner of a “˜sweet’ person. A lovely virtue ““ welcoming or otherwise. Your choice on this one.

FYI. Many of us have a soft spot for Fetzer as they pioneered the organic movement in Californian wines, and the concept of pairing local foods with their wines. The family sold on a few years ago, but I believe the original practices are still in place.
