One of my favourite Pinot Noir’s is back at Vintages. Amazing hit of flavor and complexity for the price. As ever there is a nod to the family’s European roots, “ European refinement” is how the Vintages catalogue folks described it. A word of caution – the wine tastes a little gamey at first, so open well ahead, or decant.
P.S. De Bortoli winery is located in an old settlement called Gulf Station – hence the G.S. designation on the label.
