When wineries find the courage to jazz up their labels it’s usually a series of steps. God forbid that we get too far removed the birth certificate look! But have you seen the latest from Creekside? They’ve gone wild. I mean wild. The new labels look like a 60’s jazz album cover. Arty and cool. And wait till you read the copy; “a fair dose of lunacy” “more bent than most.” Now that’s a gutsy winery. Bravo. Oh, and what about the wine you ask?
The 2010 Pinot Grigio is one of the best in the store. One of my top ten locals. You get a little freshness, a little fruitiness and a lot of pleasantness. Sip your cares away. The Pinot Grigio experience. While it’s easy to dismiss Mr Grigio for being “˜so nice’ it is one of the best food partners. Flatters just about anything other than red meats.
