Chianti has gone through an identity crisis – starting out as rustic and low brow, and then more recently flipping to rich and expensive. I’ve always hoped that wineries would find a middle ground – delivering traditional rustic with solid feelings and flavours. Enter Cecchi with a wine smack bang in the middle range, and at a good quality price ratio. Expect classic Tuscany earthy, woodsy, Fall-day feelings. Enjoy with foods and times of a similar nature.
